They first appeared in All Sar comics #37(november 1947) the original line up consisted of the Brainwave,the Wizard,the fiddler. The gambler,per degaton,icicle,the thinker. other members included the Sportsmaster,Tigeress Harlequin,Solomon Grundy,the Shade.the Dummy.Social/Sharing |

The whole team is there and I can see them planning to slice up an American map in a gerrymandered way for each villain to conquer with their criminal activity!

A great piece, already over 22 years old. I wonder what the intent was for this piece. Perhaps a model sheet? But it's odd that Tom Grindberg of all people would've been selected to work on JSA related characters. Either way, it's a fabulous piece and in the right collection now!

I remember this published in one of those 80 page specials. I think they had a johnny sorrow story with it.
