Description

Amazing "puzzle card" commission from the talented Mexican artist Marco Carrillo, here's a concept I pitched based on the Dragon's Lair arcade games, which Marco fully realized into this amazing progression sequence!

Spread across the six cards are Dirk the Daring squaring off with Singe the Dragon, Mordroc the wizard slipping the evil Death Ring onto Princess Daphne, who transforms into the monstrous Banshee. And a great take on the familiar "Game Over" animation is framed inside a DL arcade cabinet with a player ready to sink more quarters into the unit in hopes of securing a better fate!

Among the Additional Images, I've uploaded three conceptual layout sketches Marco sent along with the cards and a scan of the verso side of the custom-branded PSC sketch cards he used for this set!

Very cool as it scrolls along to the right like the animation of the game in the arcade cabinet.
