DescriptionI recently, finally, started reading Jimmy Palmiotti & Justin Gray’s highly regarded Jonah Hex series from 2006. As much would have it, some pages from the first few issues of the run popped up for sale. Pleased to add this fun example of western comics to the collection! The comic was published directly from Luke’s pencils (with added color). If interested in even more comic art content on YouTube, I just uploaded an unboxing video of this page, along with some other Hex pieces I have: https://youtu.be/1_J_0Eo0Bpg?si=q11p8xCbOb87liGd Social/Sharing |

Another great video! I only tried once and I tried to control my emotions too much without going off on how I really felt. The pencil to color gives this a unique look that lends itself stories of the past that is fading from memory if not captured in time.

Thanks for watching! Agreed! Given the subject matter it absolutely gives it that feel of a tale from long ago! Great observation!

Really cool page to get, and from such an early issue! Great unboxing videp as well, though I'm actually most excited about the fact that you decided to try reading the series! The single issue story format for this series is the very reason I bought and read it. It was so great to be able to read the beginning, middle and end of a story in a single issue, without having to remember what you had previously read, as you mentioned in your video! I hope you continue to read the series.

I absolutely plan to continue to read the series, just a matter of finding the time. Although this is one I am more likely to go back to first given the single issue story aspect! Yeah, the timing of everything was perfect. Had you not given me that push to actually read it, may have missed out on the opportunity to grab this (and the other two I need to post). So again, thanks!!
