Description

THere were a few glaring holes in my collection and a Tomine Optic Nerve page was one of those. Hole plugged! I am happy to add this one which I like on many levels. The use of the standard 9 panel grid and art that on first glance is pretty tame until you get into the text. I like the uncomfortable conversation and the confidence of the female character to extricate herself from it. The two bookend panels stand out as nice start and stop points making this a good stand alone page too. The last panel is just perfect.

Hole plugged, for sure. Love the entire page, but that last panel is so well done.

Love it. Finances have made the published stuff out of reach, but I have a sketch coming my way I am looking forward to!
