Description

The last commission I got from Lan Medina, and certainly my favorite out of all the ones he did for him. I love every aspect of it, but as I type this it occurs to me I probably appreciate the background so much because it reminds me of the detail Caldwell and Elmore put into the backgrounds of their works. Caldwell once talked to me about how he felt it was important to put as much effort into the background of a piece as it was to depict the characters in it, and as always Medina had the same view as he did a piece for me.

I’ve often thought about getting someone to color it, but I don’t have a flatbed scanner large enough for it, and a past experience with art going between multiple artists makes me leery of ever letting it out of my home.
