Description

This one feels like a one-minute later cover, right after Mike Zeck's Silver Surfer (from the 4th annual) flies over New York. Just with mike Zeck's original, there is an incredible level of details provided by artist Manuel Garcia, who just put a lot of work into the page. Many thanks to Miquel Campos who remembered I was interested in purchasing the piece.

Classic dynamic Spidey pose and just as impressive is that background - Manuel went to TOWN on it! Or...went to "CITY"? In any case, killer piece, PV, congrats!

Jawdropping commission by Manuel Garcia! Love this image of Spider-Man with the cityscape of NYC behind hiim! I'm blown away by the level of detail that Manuel put into this background. Every building in sight appears to be rendered with the kind of care put into architectural drawings. You just don't see this kind of obsessive attention to detail very often these days. Phenomenal pick-up, congrats!

Even without the background, this would be a great Spider-man piece. But when you add all those buildings, it makes for a truly magnificent scene. Wow!
