DescriptionAn avocation of mine for several decades was and is community theatre. Comic books and comic book art is also. Both of these avocations came together in a most spectacular fashion. Bill was a frequent guest at local conventions and store signings during the late 80s and early 90s, resulting in many occasions to chat. One of these times, the conversation tacked to what our next production was. When told it would be “The Pirates of Penzance,” he started putting lines down on paper, refining them as he went, until they coalesced into this drawing. You can almost hear the chorus from clear across the bay!Social/Sharing |
