Indiana Jones by David Day

If adventure has a name... it must be Indiana Jones. Such a tagline! And one that sums up the movie franchise perfectly! Like his famous siblings, David Day made a start in comic books before finding a niche providing illustrations for various Role Playing Games manuals. David’s pencil renderings added an element of reality to what he drew, whether based on actual people or characters created from whole cloth. Working on licensed properties often requires a delicate balance, and the client in this instance wanted Drew Struzan’s iconic painting as a starting point. David ably captures Dr Henry Jones Jr - his world weariness, as well as a reluctant willingness to face whatever peril might come next!
