Description

Day 11. Thirty-One days of Star Wars (2024 edition) continues!

Luke Skywalker knows his destiny is leading him toward a confrontation with Darth Vader. But Vader is a Dark Lord of the Sith, and Luke is barely even a Jedi. To have any chance at survival, he must find a way to train himself in the battle techniques he will soon face. He must find another Sith.

Continuing his Jedi training with this goal, he has been seeking out the secrets of the Kyber crystals on the planet Christophsis. There, he met a young Fallanassi named Gretta, who helped him find some of the answers he needed. Now, with the help of Gretta's Auntie Feez, Luke enters a Jedi trance to heal a Kyber crystal imbued with the memories of the Sith who once owned it.

Jonas Trindade inks over Steven Cummings bluelines. I have managed to acquire both boards in the last six months, this one from Jonas.

And in the force of darkness she is inked by Jonas Trindade

And when the blueline artwork Stephen Cummings work techniques
There will be Skywalker, Gretta please
For though Luke may have farted, they're in the Force and they will see
They will heal in kyber, jedi peace

I'll have to consult with Pablo Hidalgo, but I believe this is now the first Rebel flatulence established in canon. Cool!

Well something caused that last panel reaction. I just figured that's why there are candles here and the reason Jedi and Sith normally wore robes.

Cummings pencils are all there and pretty tight, so there's not much "exploring" Trindade can or needs to do. Instead, he does an excellent job of taking what's given to him and doing his job, which is simply finishing the pencils, no need to get fancy. Congrats on acquiring both pencils and inks and uniting them!

nice inks and even nicer work for getting the pencils and inks together from seperate sources. that might be THE BEST thank you note sketch bonus art I've ever seen from an artist

The thank you note and sketch was a pleasant surprise. And I fill there is a nod to Infantino with the face. Another satisfying purchase from the fine artists and folks at Chiaroscuro Studios.
