Description(Please see my previous two posts for pages 3 and 4 of this issue)In the last issue, Rek-Rap and Spidey come across the Repossessor (Re-Po), who is tasked with disposing of (ie eating) members of the Insidious Six who escaped Limbo a while back. On this page, Rek-Rap is recounting his first encounter with Re-Po. After a battle with Kraken the Hunter, he saw how Re-Po transformed from a man into a hideous monster and (to his dismay) gobble up Kraken. I know, it's a bizarre story, but Rek-Rap is basically the Bizarro Spider-Man, so it makes sense. Social/Sharing |

Holy smokes! Do you realize what you have here? You have the very page on which Kraken the Hunter dies! Supergirl's death in Crisis #7 has always been the best handled death of any major character who has "died" in comics. But with this stunning and terrifyingly gruesome death of Kraken, McGuinness has set the new standard for incredibly well told comic book deaths. You know what this means, right? Cha-Ching!

At some point, Rek-Rap should just tell the rest of the Insidious Six that they should team up against Re-Po. Kraken is still more appealing an option than that guy's hot dog.
