continuing my four weeks straight of Heritage wins. I picked up this stunning watercolor portrait of Captain America's 1# bad guy, The Red Skull. This piece was done in Watercolor over graphite texture art paper by artist Michael Sta Maria. Michael did a great job of capturing the pure evil of the character the watercolors real give a pop to the piece. especially the texture feel of the wall behind him. This was a steal at the price of $76.00.

Quite a fearsome presence! Red Skull is such a twisted and perverse character and the antithesis of Cap! You can't get anyone (not even Sta. Maria) to do this quality art for what you got it for.

So true marcus. Considering the other pieces Michael did I'm the past. The piece looks so much better in person

It certainly is a steal at 76 dollars, but if that 76 dollars includes the buyer's premium, it is REALLY steal! Ironic too, being an American, I can't help but think of The Spirit of 76!

Fine piece of work. Beautiful texturing. Shudderingly evil expression. You're lucky to have it.
