Description

Madness ensues inside Arkham Asylum so Batman arrives to help control the chaos. Inmate Kryppen has poisoned all the other inmates and promises to save them as long as Batman kills any one of his choosing. Featuring The Riddler, Two Face, Zasz, Amygdala, and a host of other Arkham inmates.

The published comic credits Alan Grant as the writer, Brian Stelfreeze for "storytelling" and Rick Burchett as "artist." The DC database credits Brian Stelfreeze as the penciler and Rick Burchett as the inker. Perhaps Stelfreeze and Burchett shared art duties in terms of layouts and finishes and combined their efforts throughout. I'm not exactly sure what percentage of Stelfreeze or Burchett is on this Page, but it's a great example of a moody Batman page from the mid '90s.

It catches you off guard how all the shadow and black ink are connected in some way to be a special page in the book.
