DescriptionI first got hooked on reading Science Fiction in the mid 70's when I started reading the Heinlein young adult novels. At that time, Darrell Sweet was doing all the covers for these Ballantine releases. Sweet's "old school charm" gave a wonderfully quirky innocence to these juvenile SF covers which seemed a perfect fit.The Rolling Stones cover was ubiquitous. I recall seeing it on every paperback rack. I always loved that weird three-eyed "flat cat"(which directly "inspired" the Tribbles on Star Trek). 24 x 15 Social/Sharing |

The yellow color brings a nice glow warmth to what is traditionally an all grey spaceship aesthetic. It lightens the mood for this more comedic tale.
