DescriptionAll-Star Superman, the greatest modern Superman story by the greatest modern comic book artist Frank Quitely and writer Grant Morrison. I'm happy to present this 'key' page in the story, introducing the new Key to the fortress of solitude. On this page Superman lets Lois know the new key is made from a super dense dwarf star and weighs a half a million tons. Quite a flex.Social/Sharing |

That's one heavy key wonderfully illustrated by Quitely as we see the crack left on the floor. Congrats on another ASM page, Chuck!

Well thought-out page by Quitely (and Morrison):
A "key" page works for the pun but you can really see how attentive Morrison and Quitely were to the story and setting up Lois's subsequent 24-hour "power trip."

Huge congrats, man! Standout page from the standout series. Nice shots of both Supes and Lois and I loved this moment with the unliftable key :)

Another beauty by Quitely! Delicate pencils show the gentle warmth he has for the subject matter and the innocent wonder Lois has which is a stand in for the audience.

Nice Page! It's no Excalibur, but to each their own. ;-)

Indeed a page from one of the very best Superman stories, if not, superhero stories of all time.
