Description

This is page 10 from the Bronze age Batman story titled "Riddler on the move" printed May 1975. Batman has his hands full in this deadly, fast paced game of "cat and mouse" as the Riddler runs him ragged through a maze of 3rd rate gangsters, puzzling and deadly traps that would certainly end in tragedy for most of us, but not Batman "The World�s Greatest Detective". The Riddler has once again underestimated Batman's deductive skills. Adding insult to injury Batman has for the time being locked Edward up in the monkey cage at the Gotham Zoo, at least until Gotham P.D can get him more appropriate accommodations.

A Denny O'Neil script filled with riddles and clues beautifully rendered by Dick Giordano and Ernie (Chua) Chan. I love that The Riddler just can't help himself. He has an obsessive need to snitch on himself to Batman through the leaving of clues and riddles with Too much information! His compulsion makes him and anyone he works with unable to earn a dishonest living or stay out of jail for any meaningful amount of time at all. I think he and Mr. Freeze are a close tie for my favorite Batman villains.
