DescriptionTodd is a holy grail of comics for me. he's my beatles. my first comic convention was when spawn 4 came out and i got todd's autograph. he was the first comic pro i ever met. wow.but sdcc he always had a huge crowd and no way i'd catch him there. at the end of the night, after partying a bit, i was going to my room of my hotel and in the lobby were Todd and Greg C just chatting. i said "we're not worthy" as i walked by and they laughed. i got up to my room, grabbed my sketchbook and a pen and went right back down. i bugged todd for a signature and asked if he could add a spider. boom. he then introduced me to greg which was awesome. i mentioned to greg how much i loved his work outside of comics. some great album covers. one of the bands is iced earth and we joked about thier singer being a dumbass and oh well, at least the album covers are awesome Social/Sharing |
