Description

Boy, do I love Manuel Garcia. I told myself I'd hold off on ordering any more commissions by one of my favorite artists, but then I saw he was coming to Paris Fan Festival this month and offering a nice and affordable option.

Cue me sending him a message and jumping on his list for another Batman. As always, it went all very smooth and it was ready for the show.

This kind of Batman is my favorite Batman - a brooding figure coming out of the shadows, oozing with dark atmosphere and thick inks. The speed lines add to the feeling of him jumping at you.

Size is A4, or the European equivalent of 9x12.

The Batsignal is like his sun with the inks making more of a supernatural look of darkness for Batman!

Great directional energy here. Everything is exploding outward, directly toward the viewer. And I love the almost smokey effect of the cape.
