HA I'm a big fan of Bill's work. This image is a bit peculiar, I know! For me circumspectly, the imagery has a St. Stephan kind of feeling to it. On the final cover the arrows have suction cups, where in this image they appear to penetrate. It's just one of those interesting artworks that has you go HMMM, & it's by Bill! Amazing! Without knowing it's the Joker, nd seeing the dripping blood, you'd think that Sienkiewicz was drawing his version of the crucifixion of Jesus.
