DescriptionLake Como 2024 PickupSean took a limited list of 5 full figure spots for Como and I managed to see it in time to grab one. This was supposed to be pencil and ink only but the art gods (and the Como sun) shone on me and Sean decided to go all out. Winner, winner! Social/Sharing |

Love the fire and motion of the bike on this one, bonus that he did it all in color.

Good looking GR, especially the way the fire was done.

Epic! I know it's not in the cards, but I would LOVE to see SGM on a Ghost Rider book going full goth/punk!

It's Sean Murphy, and I'll buy if I want to
Buy if I want to, buy if I want to
You would buy too if he drew this for you
Nobody knows where my Johnny Blaze gone
Danny Ketch the same time
Why was he drawing for fans
When he's supposed to draw mine?
It's by Murphy, and I'll buy if I want to
Buy if I want to, buy if I want to
You’d want five too if he drew this for you
Drawin' in pencils, keep working all night
But leaving Como now in style
Now Johnny's riding with me
Eranga’s reason to smile
It's by Murphy, and I'll buy if I want to
Buy if I want to, buy if I want to
You would buy two if this happened to you

Jaw droppingly good!!!The use of color alone is outstanding, but the composition is even better. This is the true definition of an epic commission. WOW

At first it seems so rough and then you see how tremedously cool it is. What a great piece. Congrats!

Sean's color work has some great energy behind it (though he does it so sparingly), and this is a great example of it. I wasn't sure how the Como commissions would turn out (as compared to the OAX ones), but this looks phenomenal. Congrats!

Wow - crazy-ass piece! And you don't see the Tex bike often - a nice touch by Murphy.

Fabulous Sean Murphy commission. Ghost Rider is a favorite character of mine and it's cool to see Gordon's take on him. I love the layout here, very reminiscent (In a good way) of his multi-image covers for the White Knight series. Ghost Rider himself is nicely rendered, riding full-tilt on his Hellcycle and leaving a trail of fire wherever he rides. He's swinging a nasty lookling whip above his flaming head as he speeds to wherever he's being sent. Behind him in the rectangular panel is some sort of demon/devil, perhaps Mephisto himself, suggesting a bit of malevolent intent to Ghost Rider's mission.

Suh-weet! He just decided to keep it rollin' with the colors...I mean if there's a character you can have some legit fun with in that regard...
Love how the demon is framed in the background, with GR almost driving out the frame. SGM knows what he's doin'. Congrats!
