When I heard that "King Giorgio" was coming to Lucca Collezionando 2024 and opened a very short list for commissions, I tried asking him something that was on my wish list for a very long time, so here it is, the great Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy imagined by Cavazzano!!!

I can't tell how many times I (re)watched their movies, particularly their most popular ones (Sons of the Desert, A Chump at Oxford, The Flying Deuces, Saps at Sea, Pardon Us, etc.), and even today, only by looking at them and their amazing (and probably unmatched) chemistry, they bring me a smile. Best therapy when I feel low <3

My request was for an inked piece, probably something was lost in the communication and I got a fully penciled one, but it was so amazing that when he offered to ink it during the Comic-Con (to comply with my initial request) it was a no-brainer deciding to keep it penciled ^_^

It's also curious to note that characters pointing to other characters is something that Cavazzano uses a lot, maybe he got that right from Laurel & Hardy (see additional images)? I'll ask him next time I'll have the chance to meet him :)
