Description

My first John Amor artwork and it's amazing! I cannot fathom how much cross hatching work he did on this piece, but I love it. I requested 5 mystery sketches this time around, and 3 of them were Black women - Michonne, Eartha Kitt Catwoman, and Black Hammer.

I love how he portrays Michonne's bust, eyes closed, and below shows her inverted shadow, sword in hand, with her two walkers (arms cut off of course) which she uses for protection. Badass.

Big thanks to Next Comic Art (Jiggy) and to John, one hell of a funny guy.

A stand out! It almost looks like a wood carving with the immense linework creating the contours of the face. They look machined, but are hand done lines. Awesome negative space within to show us her intro fromt he comic.
