Karate Kid vs. Ryu by Pasqual�Ferry and Simon Gough

I have been a big fan of Pasqual Ferry's art since the�90's when he was drawing Heroes For Hire and Plasmer. I have since gone on to buy pretty much every comic he has illustrated, from Adam Strange to Thor to Doctor Strange. I have�wanted a commission from Pasqual since I started collecting them, and thanks to 4C Comics I was finally able to get one! I had seen Pasqual draw Ryu once before on a cover, so I chose him as Karate Kid's opponent. Ryu was one of my favorite characters back when I played way too many hours of Street Fighter II, and would be a great opponent for Val Armorr. Pasqual delivered this beautiful commission and I was so happy when I received it! Both characters look amazing and ready to throw down. I passed this on to Simon Gough and he made it look even more gorgeous with his mad coloring skills. Thanks, Pasqual and Simon!

Karate Kid's strategy for winning here will be the same one I've used against him many times: avoid his Hadouken and�Shoryuken attacks while backing Ryu up to the edge�of the screen. Then you just juggle him with repeated combos.

Ryu looks as big as he does on the selection screen! Karate Kid has his work cut out for him!

Got an animated feel to it which I dig lots! Ferry's the king of the less-is-more approach and this is a great example. And Simon, killing the colors yet again. Congrats!
