Description

I've been looking for a Muth M page for over 30 years. At SDCC 2023. I mentioned this fact to Allen Spiegel in his booth. He told me to hit him up before the next SDCC and he'd bring some pages with him. Sadly he passed away earlier this year.

I still reached out to his company and they promised to bring some M pages to SDCC 2024. They kept their promise. They shared a few options and I chose my favorite.

God almighty this is FINE WORK. Shouldering both graphic impressionism and photorealism on the same page. Hard pressed to find any finer gradients in the medium.

Like photographs when seen at normal distance! You want to see this up close and try to figure out how Muth was able to accomplsh this.

It takes a tremendous amount of artist talent to make a page of fabulous somethings appear to be a page of nothing.

The atmosphere of an average street scene is just, wow.
