Description

Despite all the decades I�ve read comics, I had no idea who Richard Bonk was until I crossed paths with him on Facebook near the end of 2021. I commissioned him for my theme of heroes randomly running into each other and not instantly fighting, inspired by the issue of Savage Dragon where Dragon and Hellboy�s first meeting is entirely cordial . . . at least until Hitler�s brain throws a spanner into things.

I was blown away by all the detail Richard put into the work, but my favorite part of it is Skye waiting for a fist bump. I didn�t give him any character descriptions beyond sample images, but the fist bump really captures Skye�s perpetually friendly, �team mom� personality
