For several years Joe St. Pierre and Mike Leeke were offering commissions as part of Kickstarters Joe was running. Life made me miss the 2023 and 2023 Kickstarters, and as I write this in 2024 it looks like Mike is no longer doing commissions. I actually picked this up from them in 2021, after getting my Skye commission from them via Kickstarter.

It’s only as I post this that I realized it’s drawn on the thickest board I’ve ever had a non-painting commission done on. A real nice, heavy weight. Heck of a thing to get it in and out of the art folio to photograph it, though.

Premium art board, Crescent? It's what the old guard used to use for commissions back in the late 70's and early 80's to have detail against a higher brightness. Looks like it here with St. Pierre's inks holding the Leeke's curves tight.

Thanks for the possibikity! It doesn't haveca maker's mark on it, and it appears to be a factory-made board, with nomsigns of it being cut down. Does Crescent go sans logo on their boards?

If it's blank, then it's an equivalent illustration board.
