Description

With the sacrifice of Rai, Pete and the crew have enough time to rescue Solar. Solar is still feeling drained and not out of the woods yet as mothergod's soldiers attack. Pete plans to buy the team some time for Solar to get ready for action.
This is near the end of the Unity saga. The titles would cross back and forth on events and several pages would have multiple stats of the same scene from a different book. This one is all art and with most of the crew here (Archer, Armstrong, Solar, Pete, Flamingo, New Eternal Warrior, Faith Geoff, Magnus, and old Eternal Warrior) and so this makes it a keeper.

Man, the artists Valiant hired back i nthe day were true chameleons. Even David Lapham of Stray Bullets fame and Gonzalo Mayo of Vampirella fame, both of whom have their own very distinctive artistic styles, combine together to look like Barry Windsor-Smith & Bob Layton. So wild!
