Description

When Guy Gilchrist's brother Brad left 'Nancy', Guy famously pivoted to a much more family-and-romance-oriented take on the property. Having brought back Phil Fumble, he leaned into his romance with Fritzi, ultimately concluding with their wedding in his final installment.

You can also see how Phil has been "beefed up" from his diminutive size to Fritzi's height and made a bit "hunkier". This was apparently based on reader feedback and, since Guy seemed to have difficulty with the character as originally designed (often making him look childlike), I think this works better.

Looks great with the overall design as even the syndication type between the panels fit as if it was part of the Christmas tree. Gilchrist was definitely bringing a soap opera look to all these forlorn expressions.
