That is an absolutely stunning looking Conan by Chan, and to think pieces like this was done at conventions nearly 45 years ago - its so good, congrats!

If I didn't know better, I might think you were just doing stuff like this to point out the shortcomings of my collection. Yes, I know I don't have an example by the great Ernie Chan in my Filipino artist collection. And yes, you have a killer one. Okay, I get it. For crying out loud, enough already!

This is commission quality back in 1980! Chan's sketches and commissions during this era were some of the highest quality being produced for and in conventions. This is the time when he was inking and doing the Conan strip.

Classic Chan Conan illustration. I love that it states the provenance right on it by Ernie's own hand!
