DescriptionA fun cover from 1957!While Dagwood is taken aback by a carved Halloween pumpkin on his doorstep that has a similar hairstyle, his family looks on with amusement. Happy Halloween, everyone! Side Note: I just found out that a five page story from this issue was auctioned on Heritage in June of this year. I'm bummed that I missed that, so if you are the new owner or know who pulled it down, please let me know? I would be very interested in making an offer. Social/Sharing |

It's a Halloween treat! Uncanny carved likeness as they make the point that Dagwood is pumkinheaded!

My wife tells me that I resemble our pumpkin outside because it has a hollow head. I didn't get it.
