I�ve had this piece for awhile. Realized there weren�t a ton of examples from this book on CAF.

Stardust is a classic. Incredibly well done graphic novel by Gaiman and Vess. The movie is a favorite of ours, feels like a successor to the Princess Bride.

But it started with this Vertigo book. Gaiman�s story is one of his best. But the whimsical art by Charles Vess made it special. He brought this story to life in a way that made it an instant fairytale amount the classics. I love this scene between two main characters with some of Vess�s trademarks like the faeries in the upper left. It�s a prime example of his beloved style.

Those fine touches and the light watercolors bring a fairy tale like wonder to the audience. Those little witnesses on the opposite corners may be the ones to relay the story to a scribe down the line.
