DescriptionJaws is and always has been one of my favorite movies, ever since I watched it as a little kid and was subsequently scared to death of having a big white shark under the bed!I needed a Jaws-inspired Disney piece without any filters, and I thought Alberto was the right guy for the job — and he delivered! Although it's been quite some time in the making, I believe it was well worth the wait due to how dynamic, striking, powerful, and scary the final piece is. Also, the colors are perfect, so icy-cold that they make you shiver. Donald/Brody, Scrooge/Quint, and Gyro/Hooper are perfect in this dramatic scene inspired by Spielberg's masterpiece. There's also an alternative version, with digital colors (see additional images), based on his first fully penciled piece (check the similarities with the color prelim). He then created a new one, a little more zoomed in with some subtle changes here and there. Huge thanks to Alb! Paper size: 25.8 x 36 cm Social/Sharing |

Alberto has a profound knowledge (and love) of fine art, so probably you're onto something with identifying Winslow Homer as an inspiration for the piece :)
