Oh, Themyscira

How many the ages passed
and ever your beauty
transfixed me
But what small matter
was time to us?

Night followed day,
followed night...
...and Diana, my namesake,
goddess of the moon,
ever watched unmoved.

In that sacred grove,
amongst the cypress trees,
I hunted boar in her honor

I do not forget her...
nor any of our patron gods...
can they say the same of me now?

I know the wind is cold,
but I didn�t feel it.
Not really

And where time, there,
in Themyscira,
was fleet on foot
and troubled me little...
...here in the wider world
so long denied us,
it flows like cooling molten iron...
slugging and thickening.

It pulls at me
and holds me at bay.
Oh, Themyscira...
my heart aches for home!

The artwork is mythical and lyrical! It can be enjoyed for the scenery alone, but Sharp's Wonder Woman shines and is deserving of praise in song passed down through the ages.
