Description

While I stopped actively buying comics around 2000, I became a fan of Alias/Jessica Jones after discovering the series a few years after it was published.

The artwork by Michael Gaydos really defined the series and made it stand out from other Marvel comics. Gaydos has been producing pinups for sale for several years and I was happy to pickup this great example via auction in 2024.

Michael Gaydos (gaydosart) is selling a ton of his art directly on eBay at reasonable prices, so I definitely recommend checking it out if you're a fan.

A beautiful, gritty, moody rendition of the character! I recently finished watching the three seasons of Jessica Jones. I'm sad it's over, but thanks to my horrible memory, in three years or so I'll forget most of what happened and be able to watch it again, haha!

Ha yeah - hopefully the character will show up in the new Daredevil TV series, but we'll see.

Very strong brushwork layered on to get us this dimly lit dark noir look that made the series so captivating in how grounded the superheroing was.

Strong sense of atmosphere and love seeing all the brush stokes in the art...Gaydos a perfect artist for JJ and her world. Congrats, Ted!
