Description

This is the published comic book color page to the original Steve Rude Nexus ad art which is displayed in my CAF gallery.

This was from one of the earliest appearances of Nexus from E-Man #7 in 1983. It was published between the Capital Comics Nexus issues #3 and #4 and prior to Nexus moving to First Comics for its long run.

It combines one of my favorite comic book characters with one of my favorite art genres to collect (Hostess comic book ads). Some of my Hostess ads can be seen in my CAF, and I'm always looking to buy or trade for more.

It's got adventure and humor and it's from the right time period when these ads ran. Just like this artwork and its colors, Twinkies from that time period may still be as fresh today as they were then.
