You may recognize the composite art from Ron Frenz (The THING) and Darryl Banks (Sabra) from from Comic Art Fans. Marvel Two-In-One issue 99 (ROM spaceknight and The Thing) with it's flat background ended up being the perfect cover template to worlk from. Digital art generously gifted to me.

They fit so well together! Banks' Sabra requires the light touch in the air while Ben is rougher and heavier based linework by Frenz.

Excellent critique I couldn't agree more! It was a real joy to include this one into my gallery and it's always good for there to be some more Sabra on CAF.

yeah i love that piece after i found it on CAF back in 2013 i posted it here . . .

also, you're right about Ron Frenze back in the 80s and 90s i didn't even know the name despite his art work being top shelf Marvel 80s awesome on par with Buscema. Darryl Banks I also never heard of until i discovered his Sabra piece on CAF a few years ago. i need to make a point of exploring more of his stuff.
