wow, that's a really fantastic looking image. all 14 (I think I counted right lol) figures look great and very well defined. shame he switched over to digital but I suppose it is what it is. congrats on another CGR related addition!

It comes together pretty slick. With how complex the teams are positioned, this was going to be a tough one to pull off.

Incredibly exciting cover scene by the great David Marquez for Guardians of the Galaxy! I always like action scenes on covers--They get me excited to pick up the issue at my local comic shop! This one is particularly cool with the villains seemingly falling from the sky towards the Guardians! You can see all the Guardians getting ready to attack as soon as they land! I especially love Groot here, with his arms spread wide and claws growing out of his hands! Marquez has a real talent for inking as well, I love the spot blacks he uses here to make the characters pop. Like you, I'm a bit skeptical of artist's proofs, but if that's the only way to get the art...Anyway, fantastic pick-up, congrats!
