Description

The published art for the 1:100 variant cover of the launch title 'Epitaphs From The Abyss' from the newly reformed EC Comics (from Oni Press). Love that it's in the style of the old EC comics cover with the circles showcasing the new horror hosts.

The piece is original inks by Weaver over his own blueline printed pencils. Not sure who did the terrific colors, but it might be Weaver.

Image area of 10 1/2" x 12 1'2" on an 11" x 17" sheet of bristol.

That's old school horror illustration done right! The EC cover motif is hot once again with a generation of comic fans who've never even touched those comics, but know how high quality horror when they see it.
