DescriptionUsually the Marvel UKs were just reprints of the american issues. In this case the page 1 to to this story is different than the page from the issue it came from. Anyone got any insight feel free to comment. I decided to pick it up from Anthony because it had a large image of Hulk and several of his enemies.Social/Sharing |

They split up the typical US monthly comic into three weeks of UK titles. 7 pages for week 1, 7 pages in week 2, and 7 pages for week 3.
The splash page of week one remains as is. For weeks two and three, they had guys like Craig and Aclin draw new art to serve as their chapter title page splashes.
They did this with other titles too, so the UK can read several pages of multiple US titles in one book.

These UK reprints are a way to get more affordable art for well remembered stories.

very cool UK Marvel chapter splash, really enjoy the UK specific pages of art that were made as well as the covers for various Marvel titles, and they are a more affordable entry point to Marvel art from that time period even still today. nice pickup man congrats!

Fun page! Based on the initials, I believe the inker is Duffy Vohland.

This page is absolute Hulk sized greatness! The Abomination’s ferocious, in-your-face snarl practically jumps off the board, and the bold, classic lettering makes the whole thing feel larger than life. That shot of the Hulk on the monitor is pure tension building perfection! This is the kind of old-school, Marvel magic that makes original art so damn cool!
