Giffen and Mahlstedt continue the tight, dramatic storytelling with a strong sense of pacing. Giffen’s layouts always had a great sense of movement, as you can see in the crash sequence in panel one. I love how the foreground figures are in silhouette, as it makes the crash in the background grab more of your attention. Chief Zendak’s growing paranoia is a nice touch, adding layers to the political tension.
