Description

A wonderful tribute to Alex Toth by the late Ric Estrada. You can certainly see the influence of Toth in this piece. The black and white balance is spot on, and the Red Baron is captured very nicely. It brings back the fantastic body of War comics published in the era.

It has the throwback 70's look when Toth did most of his DC War stories. One of his best was in Our Fighting Forces 146 called Burma Sky that had planes everywhere. This is a great tribute with Estrada bringing us right into the sights of the enemy!
