Absolutely gorgeous splash page of the early Spawn mini-series penned by Alan Moore with Pencils by Tony Daniels and Inks by Kevin Conrad. This beautiful (literally) splash page shows Spawn in an ongoing battle with his demonic suit as it taunts him underwater! Haunting dialogue from the incomparable Alan Moore, including my favorite "I am she-that entangles and I am your bonded bride. I am a part of you. It is like love, save that it's real... and lasts forever." Tops! Ink over graphite on standard Image illustration board measuring 11"x17" and in excellent condition.

Great time in the industry as Image was bringing in big time talent! Moore wrote this and Violator for Spawn and Tony Daniel elevated his game here. This impressed them so much that Tony Daniel got on the regular Spawn title just a little later.
