Another incredible page from the classic "Faces" storyline! This one truly has it all with a great shot of Two-Face and his henchmen in the first panel, a shot Two-Face's gigantic coin in the fourth panel, and a sweet shot of Batman swooping down in the final panel!

Matt Wagner is a chiaroscuric and compositional genius. Or a madman. (Maybe both?). I guess "Faces" is the perfect setting to explore those aspects, though, and it certainly feels like he's doing so here. Panel 1 is pretty incredible, but panel 4 is dizzyingly awesome with all of its concurrent vectors, angles, lines, x-es, swoops, swirls, and slopes. And then panel 5?!? Are you kidding me? A master is at work here. Beautiful pick up, Jim - more sincere congrats!
