Description

This is a one of a kind item. An entire unpublished sketchbook by Jeffrey Brown from 1999, around the time he was working on Clumsy. This sketchbook has complete poems and original art pieces throughout (no blank pages) that were never published. Heartfelt and emotional, this sketchbook is titled “One Poem Maximum” and was not meant for reproduction. This is from the artist of the autobiographical comix books Clumsy as well as many graphic novels like Star Wars Jedi Academy, Darth Vader and Son, Vader’s Little Princess, The Incredible Change Bots, Bighead, Cat Getting Out of a Bag and Other Observations, Lucy & Andy Neanderthal, and so many others.

This is a 4 inch wide by 6 inch hardcover book with approximately 80 pages total of art and poems plus the illustrated covers. One of a kind sketchbook from an amazing cartoonist.

Most all of his early comics works were like so. Brutally honest at times. Very happy to be the caretaker of this.
