I love Nightcrawler and my dream X-Men team is usually not complete without him. Jim has done some significantly amazing Nightcrawler pieces in the past and I wanted to see him tap into that again. I love how we have Nightcrawler in this truly menacing arched explosive pose emerging from his teleport. It's fierce and Jim takes a bit of that white paint to enhance the motion in the piece. I also love how again, he's using lots of bright negative spaces to contrast the letter box border. It's so detailed and energetic! I also love how Jim maintains the classic dark shadows on Nightcrawler's face.
