Description

Catching up with Mike Perkins and his wonderful creations was a genuine delight [Como]. While browsing one of his portfolios, this page caught my eye and I just couldn't look away. I kept flipping back to it, getting lost in its awesomeness. Eventually, I decided I needed to stare at it a whole lot more, so I stole it from him. Such a lucky catch, since it was a new addition to his portfolio!

On the train back to Zürich I read the first couple of issues of 𝐽𝑢𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑐𝑒 𝐿𝑒𝑎𝑔𝑢𝑒: 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝐴𝑡𝑜𝑚 𝑃𝑟𝑜𝑗𝑒𝑐𝑡 and I think I really like the story too. It's the somewhat harder sci-fi I'd like to see more of in comics. Time to go read the rest of it… I think the 6th issue just came out...

Incredible micro/universe building! It is showing elements of outer space constellations, deep ocean diving, and even virus sized organisms that our heroes are swimming along side.

I know right? I looked at the details and thought it must have taken a thousand hours. Then I asked him and apparently it took a day. =)
