Description2009 was a magical SDCC for me.it was the first year tickets were selling out and i couldn't get anything other than Thursday and Sunday. but then it became the first year i had the backstage pass thanks to a friend who said if i helped his parents out they would give me a vendor badge. i got to the show early so i could walk around without a crowd and walk around some before folks came in. i noticed Matt Groening sitting down signing some prints or something. i interupted and passed him the book. the people he was with pushed it back but he grabbed it. he was flipping through it. i think he liked the Shannon Wheeler or the Tony Millionaire. but when he got to the Brain from family guy he felt the challenge! he grabbed a marker and drew his Green Lantern and handed the book back to me. Freaking SCORE!!!!!!! i am a simpsons maniac and this was a dream come true for me! Social/Sharing |
