DescriptionBreaking away from continuing the Legion story to present this one for Superman week.Published 2025 The joyful expressions on Lois and Superman sold me on this one. It's nice to sometimes see our heroes not in distress or fighting for their life! Social/Sharing |

Some say your cover shows
It's easy come, it's easy flow
Some say they knew it from the art
Some say the pen is right
That Guillem will get art outlines
Some say it's written in the stars
Aware the lines of March
Well, just beyond the Supes horizon
We see the clouds begin to form
Don't be afraid, we must keep flying
And cling to courage in the form
And if collection very lovely
And don't throw auctions to the wind
Take it easy, Lane is flowy
You'll save yoursеlf before the Kent
So much is changing
Who we are, what we are
There's no point in watching
Prepare the lines of March

I love the contrast between the foregrouns and background. What a fun cover! Enjoy it, Miki, because next summer's Supergirl is going to feature a version of the character who loves to constantly get drunk and apparently is a real "mess". It's based on a run by Tom King, whose writing style is a bit to out of the ordinary for my taste, but I think I'll read it just so I know what to expect a year in advance! Have YOU read it?

Yes, I did and Indid not recall a Supergirl 'who loves to constantly get drunk and apparently is a real "mess"'. It was a Supergirl who was angry about the destruction of Krypton and doesn't like living in Superman's shadow. She gets drunk once, on her 21st birthday and then the adventure starts.

Oh, okay. I've read several articles and seen several videos about it so it all gets lost in translation. Kind of sad though, I think, that the first introduction to Supergirl in this new relaunch of the DC movies was of her walking in totally drunk. Anyway, what did you think about the series in question?

Yes, I liked it. The story was good and art was excellent. The opening scene was more like a Red Sonja moment. I did not recall Lobo being in the series but he is in the movie, so I am guessing they are going to deviate a bit from the series. And I recall being as drunk or drunker on my 21st birthday.

Okay, great. I'm glad to hear that, coming from such a huge Supergirl fan. My experience with Tom King so far has been so-so, therefore I'm not going to set my expectations high. But I'll definitely give the series a read and I look forward to it. Oh, and you will henceforth be known as "Miki the lush"!
