DescriptionWispy spider webs up top, scritchy claw marks below!Still taking a break from posting FF #1 pages (waiting for a couple pages to come in so I can scan them). So I thought I'd take the opportunity to post a cover I just got in the mail (after finally paying it off). A stunning image of Spidey and Wolvy by the great David Marquez! Love the webbing up top. Really looks like the real deal. That stuff you see all over the place when you're cleaning your attic (or basement).

There's nothing quite like a cover which exhibits beautiful lighting technique, set against a pitch black background, is there? Talk about POP! I also love the wispy spider webs up at the top, so cool!

Soooo good. His detail and linework remind me of Steve Mcniven. Love the way he did the lighting and highlights. Maybe my favorite example I've seen of Marquez.

I was about to post a Marquez piece myself but you beat me to it lol.
Always enjoy it when Spidey teams up with other guys and this is a great team-up cover! Ill have to check out the series now.

Thanks for the comment! I really recommend this series. Only two issues have dropped so far, but the story is intriguing, and the interior art by Kaare Andrews is truly captivating.

Yup, arguably Marvel's 2 heaviest hitters! Marquez does his thing with the dramatic lighting and I love the touch of the floaty feathery webbing up top. Congrats!
