DescriptionOh how I enjoyed reading this mini-series that was written and drawn entirely by Kaare Andrews!And I just had to grab one of the covers (I also grabbed a splash, but that'll come later). I was also enthralled by the new character of Kitty-Cat, so having her first cover appearance was icing on the cake. I love me some Kaare Andrews !!! And he draws on HUGE boards! Thanks for looking. These Kaare Andrews hyper details are making me thirsty! That giant moon behind the Spideys gives me Splatt vibes from Moon Knight 57.

Awesome cover and first cover appearance as well, congrats! I have always enjoyed Kaare's art personally from the first time I saw it on a cover of a Superman book at some point (can't remember which one or when but I had to look up his stuff afterwards). I always enjoy seeing when you post newer art because most likely I haven't gotten around to reading those books yet, which also happens to be the case with this one...but it looks fun already!

It's great to hear how much you enjoyed this mini-series by Kaare Andrews! His work on this cover is truly dynamic, and I know how much getting your hands on Kitty-Cat's first cover appearance warms the cockles of your heart! The fact that Andrews works on such large boards really comes through in the detail and impact of the art. Why is Spidey wearing a Santa beard though?!?

Blimey, cuz he's Old Man Spidey, innit? I don't know why I went all British there... This story is set far in the future, so Peter has a full-on bushy white beard. It peeks out from underneath his face mask, and (as you noticed) makes for a really cool Spidey Santa look. Ho ho ho ... thwip!
