Floating heads are a staple of movie poster design. Used within the context of a story here, the Guardian elder appears with the commanding voice of god!

Nice Staton art!

Great splash! And that is a big head!! Makes me immediately wonder if this book was inspiration for the 90's band, Big Head Todd and the Monsters.
